During this workshop, learn how to prepare for that 30 second conversation that could change your career.

Meet The Instructors

Christine Started in 1985 as a letter carrier in Chula Vista, California. Her first detail was working for the Marketing Department as the District phantom shopper. In 1989 Christine was promoted to Sales Account Representative. Since that time, Christine has worked in various positions in the District, Headquarters, and pacific Area. Christine has served in numerous Marketing positions, providing her experience in every aspect of the department. Prior to being selected as the District Manager of Marketing, Christine was on a long-term assignment as the Manager of Marketing for the Sacramento.
Christine has a BA in Business and has earned her LSS Greenbelt. She is dedicated to continuous improvement and is committed to providing our customers with excellent service. Christine recently had the honor of representing the San Diego District at her first official evet, when she unveiled the new shark stamp at the San Diego Zoo.
A native Californian, Christine enjoys exploring the natural beauty of her home state. She also enjoys listening to music, reading, gardening, boating, and spending time with family and friends.

Ray Lopez

Manager Sales San Diego

Ray began his Postal career as a letter carrier in the Santa Ana District in March 1999. In July 2007, he was selected as an Account Manager for the San Diego District. Soon after, he was promoted to the Mailing Solutions Specialist in San Diego and the Franchise Major Accounts team. In 2013, Ray was selected as the District Sales Manager for San Diego where he has demonstrated the ability to lead and guide teams in pursuit of market growth and commercial revenue.

In April 2016, Ray was detailed into the Area Sales Director for Pacific Area and later that same year was detailed as Area Sales Director for Cap Metro. In 2018, Ray was detailed as Manager Major Accounts- Mail, managing a national sales team to sell mail programs to the Postal Service’s largest customers.   Ray holds a MBA in Business Administration and is certified in Project Management.   

Shawn started his career as a Casual Letter Carrier in Linda Vista in 2004 and became a PTF Letter Carrier in La Costa in 2006. He carried mail until 2014 when he joined the District Marketing team. He held detail positions as a Passport Specialist, Administrative Assistant Marketing, and Customer Relations Coordinator before earning a position as a Business Development Specialist. While in the position the San Diego District led the nation in Engagement Lead Program revenue. Shawn then accepted a detail as the Manager of Consumer and Industry Contact. Shawn has passion for working with customers and finding new ways to improve the level of our customer service. Outside of work, Shawn enjoys coaching youth basketball, writing, and chasing his twin boys around San Diego.
